Trades
Propose, negotiate, and settle card trades with friends.
Trades let you exchange cards (and optionally recorded cash) with a friend or group member using the actual cards in both collections. ScryBindr does not process payments — cash fields are for record-keeping only.
Who you can trade with
You can trade with accepted friends and with members of groups you both belong to. Group membership does not bypass binder visibility — you can only add cards from binders you are allowed to see.
Starting a trade
Browse Bindr → Trade Pile → Build Trade → Propose Trade → Negotiate → Complete
- Open a friend's or group member's binder and choose + Add to Trade Pile on cards you want
- Open Trade Pile and choose Propose Trade
- Your friend opens the trade, adds cards from your binders, and optionally records cash to balance the deal
You can also start a trade from a want-list match on a friend's or group member's profile, or from the Matches tab on a group page.
Offers and counteroffers
Trades move back and forth until both sides accept. Either person can adjust cards or cash and send a counteroffer. The Trades page shows all active and past trades with status labels for whose turn it is.
Accepting and settling
When both sides accept, each person marks their binders as settled after physically moving cards. Settlement is tracked per side so you know when both parties have updated their collections.
Cash balancing
If a trade is uneven in value, either party can record a cash amount one side pays the other. This is noted on the trade only — arrange payment outside ScryBindr.
